Merlin _ Warranty

This is the only warranty provided by Merlin Metalworks, hereafter Merlin, on the products it fabricates. This warranty supersedes any and all other warranties expressed or implied by Merlin or its agents including:
Warranties of fitness for particular purposes or merchantability.

Merlin warrants the replacement or repair of the Merlin Titanium frame due to defective workmanship and/or materials subject to the following conditions:

1. The frame is warranted only to the original retail purchaser and only for the time he/ she owns the frame.

2. The warranty registration form must be completed and returned to Merlin within thirty (30) days of purchase.

3. All warranty claims must be transacted through an authorized Merlin dealer by the original purchaser with proof of purchase.

4. Merlin retains sole option to repair or replace the frame as it sees fit.

5. Rear racks, chain/seatstay mounted bike trailers and kick stands may not be installed or used on Extralight or XLM frames. Use of aforementioned items will void the warranty.

6. In no event will Merlin be responsible for consequential or special damages, including, but not limited to, pain and suffering.

Merlin does not warrant this frame against malfunctions or failures that result from abuse, neglect, improper maintenance, alteration, modification, improper assembly, use of parts not consistent with intended use, accident, competition, stunt riding, jumping, or commercial use.

Additionally, Merlin does not warrant this frame if it has been altered in any way, including, but not limited to processes such as welding, brazing, filling, polishing, drilling, bead blasting, or anodizing, or attempted repairs by any persons other than Merlin and its authorized agents.

Merlin frames do not require paint and we offer no warranty whatsoever expressed or implied regarding paint.

NOTICE: THE BICYCLE RIDER ASSUMES THE RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY AND UNDERSTANDS THAT RIDING A BICYCLE ASSUMES CERTAIN RISKS OUT OF THE REALM OF PRODUCT PERFORMANCE OR FAILURE.

Some Important Things to Remember About Your Warranty

Merlin Metalworks titanium frames for the lifetime of the frame.
All components and additions on frame-only Merlin products, including suspension forks and rear suspension units, are warranted only by the manufacturer of the item. Any implied warranties in connection with such items are disclaimed.
Decals and finishes on all Merlin frames for one (1) year from the date of purchase.

Merlin Metalworks, at its option, will repair or replace the product covered by this Limited Warranty. This Limited Warranty is non-transferable and it provides for no cash or credit reimbursement. This Limited Warranty does not apply if the defect is the result of normal wear and tear, improper assembly, abuse, misuse, accident, improper maintenance, modification or alteration.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.
