Neil, Great message. How about it Dan?? We all ride Merlin's for the obvious reasons, many which were the results of Rob Vandermark's tenure. Now that Vandermark and colleagues (could it be 6 of them???) are off creating Seven bicycles (and I am certain he knows everything Merlin knows about how to do titanium frames well, kept his own trade-secrets, etc..) is Merlin going to drop prices, take trade-ins, give incentives in order to keep Merlin customers from buying Seven bicycles?? I am the perfect test case (owning a 1" headset 94 Merlin, needing a 1 and 1/8" for the newest forks) who will soon have cash in hand for either a Merlin replacement or a Seven. What will be the new corporate strategy or are you concerned at all?? Thanks, Cheers.
