Brake Booster?

I am huge-210lbs and it takes quite a bit of squeezing
on the vee brakes to slow me down! I was told with
the S-stays on Merlin there is no need for a brake booster.
I guess for a feathery 150 pounder yes, but hey, we
aren't all created equal never mind what the constitution
suggests-and I need to stop when I need to!
