: : What is Merlin's policy on warranty transferability? I am thinking of buying a used Merlin and would like to know if it is still protected by their warranty. Thanks.

: Hi Schuyler! I have just read the latest Merlin brochure and Adam is quite correct in what he says. Yhe original (first) purchaser of a Merlin frame receives a lifetime warranty on the frame. This of course would be for defects in material or workmanship but obviously would not include such things as running in to a tree or forgeting to open that garage door high enough! Obviously components (driveline) would receive the warranty as offered by that "supplier". New or used you will never regret riding a merlin besides which only you and the original owner will know your Merlin is "used". Ride safely! pje

Please note! READ George B's response re Merlin warranty on "used" Merlins. Thanks George for your input. Very enlightening & informative. Ride Safe pje
