This will knot your quads! i just returned from seeing my very first litespedd classic frame. In these parts of the woods Ti bikes are still quite rare. First of all in my ignorance ( yes i plead ingorance!) i thought the frame was aluminum what with the high polish & what i accepted to be the usual ugly type of aluminum welding/brazing. extremely rough & quite crude. i am told that the litespeed classic is the "cheaper version" in their model line-up. i would assume therefore that the welding improves as the model price increases? The litespeed badge is rather gaudy but i suppose at high speed it stands out more readily than the very nicely executed Merlin metal badge that signifies quality,class & expert workmanship so nicely. i will now stand back - way back- & wait for the flack to start arriving from this small but true observation. pje
