: : I am in the final process of buying a titanium bike (Litespeed Ocoee
: : vs. Merlin Mountain or Tiaga). I would like your completely biased
: : opinion as to why Merlin's frame/guarantee/service/future is better than
: : Litespeed's.

While I am a huge fan of Merlin (I own the XLM and the Extralight Road) for the money you will spend for the Tiaga I would suggest the Litespeed. However, if the Merlin Mountain frame is added to the equation...the Litespeed does not compare. Without a doubt, Merlin is one of the finest (if not the finest) frame you can buy. You will not be disappointed with the Merlin. I have many friends who have Litespeeds (One a Tellico) and they even grudgingly admit that the workmanship on my Merlin is far superior. It truly is a bike for life. I have shop that will work with you...if you are interested.
