Just thought I'd post a message about a great wkend w/my new Merlin Mountain!
Took off and went to the Shenandoah Mountains in southwestern VA and rode
all over the George Washington National Forest.
This was the first time I'd had a chance to take my new bike out in the wilds
and it was Fantastic!!! We rode along the Jackson River through old river beds
strewn with rocks and tree branches. The bike proved it's durability and flight
potential over hilly singletrak complete w/several creek crossings. What a
relief it was to have this bike over three different river crossings:
hoist it up, wade through the river, and then back on the saddle!
Great bike, great trip. Can't wait to do it again!! Thanks to everybody at
Merlin!!
