: I'm buying a Merlin Road frame, hope to have it in

My congrats as well Leon. I'm from the San Francisoc Bay area and have had my XL for almost two months. I've logged almost 1,000 on my bike and it's alsolutely the best money I've ever spent! I have tosets of wheels...Campy 16 spoke Ventos (Shamals cheaper cousin) with Bi Synergic 700x23's. Rcord hubs and a forgiving 13-26 9 speed cassette. I also have a set of Mavic Reflex Sup's with the same gearing, but with Chorus Hubs. The Ventos are a little heavier, but are fun and stiff. They also are nuke proof (I'm on the heavy side at 200 pounds), but for a long supported ride (like the AIDS ride), I'll use the Mavics which are truable to the mechanically challenged. Anyway, congrats again and ride as much as you can. Be careful though. I developed a stressed right knee probably due to wanting to hammer more. I tried fit, but decided to stretch more and take it easy on the hills. I'm glad to see my therapy has worked! Happy riding! Dan Hertlein
