Leon Pulsinelle New Merlin Road

Congratulations Leon! Best move You have ever made! I ride on MAVIC open sup cd's 622x13 double eyelette Ceramics with dt swiss spoken (tapered). One word of warning You will literally eat Your first set of Durace brake pads but only the first set. I have ridden over 6ooo kms and still have "a zillion K's left on my second set of durace pads.Great stopping power in wet conditions and another advantage of the ceramic is that You don't suffer from rim sidewall damage due to grit in the pads contacting the aluminum rim brake area. I ride on Specialized armadillo rubber here in Ottawa because i could not get one full season out of a pair of Continentals. The Armadillos are heavier but I feel that the Merlin eats up most of the road shock anyway! Speaking of shock! I have a Rock Shox paris Reubais road fork and have been waiting for the last 9 months to receive my Ruby Road threadless. I must say that the RockShox folks have graciously kept me in the loop so to speak and advise me that I should have my Ruby by X-Mas. To late to ride in this part of the world until next April but I shall practice in my basement! Congrats again Leon! You are in for a thrill! Great bike! The workmanship is absolutely first rate. I real pleasure to own and to enjoy! Welcome to "the family"!
