: I noticed my rear wheel is not centered perfectly between the chainstays of my new Merlin Extralight. When I put the wheel on, I have to hold it in the center while tightening the quick release...it doesn't just drop in dead center. Is this an alignment problem? (or not a problem at all). Since it is a small frame (53) it is awfully close to the left side stay. This happens with two wheelsets.......

Are you sure your wheel is dished correctly? Check by putting it in backwards and see if it is still off on the same side. If it is, you have a problem. I had this problem and sent it back. The pre-Seven Merlin took care of it. We'll be interested to hear how your situation goes.
