Dear Merlin:

I am the happy new owner of a Merlin Taiga(equipped with Shimano
Deore XT grupo and Manitou front shock) which I purchased from Sporting
Life Bikes in Toronto, Canada on August 9, 1997.

My question is where can I locate the serial Number on the frame. I
want to register with our police department and have it for insurance
purposes. The retailer did not put it on my sales slip but did indicate
that the frame was a 1996 Taiga.
