I found that PVC pipe solvent/cleaner (ie for sprinkler system pipes, modern bathroom plumbing, etc) available for a couple of bucks at any home store, will dissolve those pesky old Merlin stickers in about 15 seconds. It is totally innocuous to the titanium. Do not use PVC Glue!!!
