I own a Merlin road 1992 model and love the ride except
for two things: The front end is too twitchy, and the
bottom bracket is way flexy. I'm saving up for a
custom merlin so I can select the front-center and
head angle dimensions to alleviate the first concern.
As for the second concern, will an extralight have the
SAME ride as the road only with a stiffer bottom bracket?
I would appreciate hearing from anyone fortunate enough
to have ridden and/or compared the two. Thanks!
