When I was originally looking at bikes, I had decided I was going to go with the Taiga. However, because the Taiga comes in only three sizes, I was not able to get a good fit on the Taiga. Instead I went with the Mountain. The bike is awesome, amazing, etc. etc.
Not only do I get great suppleness from the frame over bumps, but on the uphills, out of the seat, all out pedaling is amazing. The horizontal rigidity in the frame makes power transfer to the pedals absolutely awesome. As a matter of fact, in the granny gear, I have to use a smaller cog in the back just to keep from spinning the pedals so hard. I am also 6 feet tall.
