: Hi,

: Iīm from Germany and I didnīt get a chance to see a VooDoo
: here in our place so thequestion is:
: Does anybody had the chance to compare a D-Jab Titanium
: with a Merlin Mountain Frame? I would like to buy one of
: these and if I compare the the price I ask myself about
: the quality. I know that the Merlin frame is a fine one
: but I donīt want to pay for the Name only.
when i needed a new bike (because my old bike
was becoming dangerously incapable of more
challenging rides) i looked at VooDoo because
i live closeby to the company headquarters. what
i was told was that voodoo is welded by the
mountain goat people and the welds are very
good. voodoos have great standover clearances
and the frames feel quick and responsive (bizango).
i also looked at the d-jab, but if it is
titanium you are looking for, i suggest you
get a merlin because of the construction, geometry,
finish, overall quality. the d-jab, i was told
is made in china and the finish is definetly
raw compared to a merlin. if you are going
all the way- do it right. in the end, you must
ride the bike- afterall, with titanium, it may
well be the last hardtail that you need. And,
for the merlin's case, you get what you pay
for.
: Regards,
: Oliver
