: I've experienced unordinary wheel rub on the inside of both chainstays, but predominantly the right. Wheels are true and dishing good. Also the length of the chainstays differ from left to right by almost an 1/8". when I addressed these issues with Merlin, they did not offer any clear explanation concerning the wheel rub and said that the chainstay design was intended to be assymetrical. Wonering if any other RSR owners have experienced this problem? Thanks for your consideration

Gee David I don't understand why a difference of 1/8 in. in the length between your left & right rear chainstays would NOT in fact be significant?! From my uneducated position it would appear to me that assuming your rear wheel is true & the axle is true that you would be unable to position your rear wheel correctly at all. Earlier this year I had a situation whereby I could not centre my rear wheel in the stays and in fact my wheel was to close to the left rear chainstay. My bike shop re dished my rim & I have had no problems centering since. Sorry I don't have an answere to Your problem but will be interested to hear what one of our friends suggest. pje
