: I see from this bulliten board that I'm not the only person out there : with a annoying BB click. I happen to own a Road XL and have a brand new : Dura Ace Splined BB. After I installed it, and after approx. 100 miles it : started to click. I dissassembled the BB re-antiseized it (with copious : amounts) and the click went away. After a week it was back!!! : What to do. I've heard plummer's teflon tape does the trick. What does : MERLIN recommend? I've also seen on this bulliten board that one should : NEVER put teflon tape on bikes. : I've read the thread regarding the XLM clicking problems and have pretty : much done what was recommended...to no avail.
