I have a 1995 XLM and serviced my bottom bracket yesterday. If you ever have plans to service your bottom bracket I would strongly suggest the use of Ti prep and lots of it. I don't know exactly why titanium and aluminum are so ready to bond if left unattended but the Ti prep, which comes in a syringe for pin point application, has done me good. Other than the bottom bracket, I think that the seat post is really the only other part that we need to be concerned with. Good Luck. Dave, Albany, NY.
